Looking at the demographic transition model, I would assume this country is in stage 4. One reason I assume it is in stage 4 is because in stage 4 fertility rates are between 2-3.5 and Sri Lanka is at 2.09. Also, you can see the NRI, CBR, and CDR all agree with the model as well by being low.
